About The Position

San Diego Harley-Davidson is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to support multiple dealership locations by overseeing payroll accounting, commission and bonus calculations, account reconciliations, and month-end accounting processes. This is a highly visible role that works closely with dealership leadership and corporate accounting teams to ensure accurate payroll administration, financial reporting, and compliance. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced, multi-location environment.

Requirements

2+ years of dealership, powersports, automotive, or related accounting experience preferred
Payroll processing and payroll accounting experience preferred
Experience with Lightspeed DMS is a plus
Strong understanding of accounting principles and account reconciliations
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Ability to work additional hours during payroll processing periods and month-end close as business needs require

Nice To Haves

Experience with Lightspeed DMS is a plus

Responsibilities

Calculate and process complex commission and bonus plans for multiple dealership locations
Prepare and submit payroll information for multiple companies to the central payroll department
Maintain payroll-related accruals, expenses, journal entries, and account reconciliations
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and maintain accounting schedules
Assist with month-end close activities and financial reporting
Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable payroll regulations
Maintain strict confidentiality when handling payroll and employee information
