Requirements
- B.S. degree in Accounting or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5-7 years of accounting-related experience.
- Knowledge of grain accounting and regulations.
- Knowledge of cooperative accounting.
- Knowledge of the agriculture industry.
- Basic computer skills.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the retail accounting field accountants and local field accountants in all aspects of their job.
- Support the Retail Controller in the day-to-day operations of the retail accounting department.
- Supervise/train the field accountants in their daily responsibilities.
- Provide guidance and input in developing and testing the retail point of sale system.
- Provide review and support to retail budgeting process.
- Assist with ongoing development of retail point of sale system.
- Provide compilation reports for locals utilizing services.
- Provide assistance in payment of equity, patronage, 1099’s for locals.
- Oversee Merchant Help Desk support team.
- Provide training as needed to employees pertaining to point of sales system.
- Oversee training content provided to locations through EAS.
