About The Position

The Accounting Manager leads the Pharmacy Services accounting team and ensures accurate, timely accounting and reporting. This role manages month-end and quarter-end close processes, supports audits, and works closely with finance and operational teams. Strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Requirements

At least 5 years of accounting, financial reporting, or financial analysis experience, including management responsibilities.
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Bachelor’s degree OR equivalent experience

Nice To Haves

Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and close processes.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Experience managing balance sheet accounts and/or financial reporting.
Experience with large financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Excel4Apps).

Responsibilities

Manage month-end close activities, especially SG&A, including journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
Partner with finance and reporting teams to ensure accurate and consistent financial results.
Lead quarter-end close activities and serve as the main point of contact for audit requests related to general accounting.
Improve accounting processes by strengthening controls, increasing accuracy, and reducing manual work.
Coach and develop the general accounting team to drive strong performance and career growth.
