About The Position

The Accounting Operations Manager is responsible for the accurate management and reporting of a location’s finances and works with the location leadership team to develop action plans that improve financial performance. The role manages financial administration and reporting, supports location operations teams in understanding financial information, and coordinates with partner finance teams where applicable. The ideal candidate is an experienced, dynamic finance or accounting professional who understands how financial concepts relate to operational procedures and outcomes.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in a finance or accounting role.
High level of computer literacy.
Passion for hospitality, food, and retail.
Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.

Nice To Haves

CPA certification.
Operational experience in food and beverage.

Responsibilities

Support accurate and timely financial reporting.
Help location operations management teams understand and respond to financial information.
Manage financial administration and reporting at the location.
Work with operations teams to interpret financial data and take action to drive improvements.
Work closely with partner finance teams where applicable.
Support completion of the monthly general ledger close.
Proactively manage accounts receivable according to contractual agreements.
Complete the Monthly Sales Report each day and produce a balanced month-end report.
Monitor and manage credit card settlements.
Manage wire transfer requests and subcontractor payments.
Manage an accurate and timely month-end close process.
Support budget processes, including posting accounts payable accruals and transfers.
Oversee timely collection of accounts receivable.
Balance direct bills and invoice adjustments.
Ensure appropriate retention and management of documentation.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
