This internship involves applying concrete experiences and abstract principles to chemical manufacturing and/or development activities. Interns may perform simulations, scale-up calculations, investigations, and laboratory work, and/or evaluate manufacturing data, perform statistical analysis, and write technical reports of manufacturing campaigns. There is potential to propose and implement process improvements. Interns will become familiar with cGMP operations and documentation and demonstrate problem-solving skills within interdisciplinary team environments. The goal is to acquire new skills and expand competency in support of project goals.

Requirements

  • Attainment of Sophomore (Junior preferred) standing at an accredited postsecondary institution.
  • Demonstrates the ability to interpret and apply standard accounting and business documentation, along with strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues and management.
  • Demonstrates the ability to apply practical judgment in executing instructions provided in written, verbal, or visual formats, and effectively address problems involving multiple variables within standardized business environments.
  • Ability to apply problem solving to assigned tasks.
  • Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite and Visual Basic
  • Ability to perform accurate calculations and report results relevant to assigned accounting and business activities
  • Foundational understanding of data analysis and problem-solving techniques
  • Ability to analyze information, identify issues, and support effective decision-making
  • Strong skills in preparing clear, concise, and professional business reports
