About The Position

The Accounting Manager role is an opportunity to lead and elevate accounting operations across a multi-entity environment. This role will support leadership by delivering accurate financial reporting, improving operational discipline, strengthening accounting processes, and translating financial data into clear insights that drive growth, profitability, and long-term business health.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience with supervisory experience favored.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks and expert-level Excel capabilities are essential for success.
  • Strong skillset in financial analysis, cost accounting, and profitability assessments is expected.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a team and drive change through strategic financial insights.
  • A proactive, outcomes-driven approach with an ownership mentality is key to thriving in this role.
  • Ability to develop and track performance metrics to foster a results-oriented culture within the firm.

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations across multiple business entities, ensuring payroll, payables, receivables, cash tracking, and related accounting functions are handled accurately and efficiently.
  • Ensure the production of clean, consistent financial reports and provide monthly insights to support strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Conduct financial analysis to identify profitability trends, cost-saving opportunities, operational risks, and areas for improved financial performance.
  • Support forecasting efforts and improve financial planning processes to give leadership stronger visibility into cash flow, revenue, expenses, and future business needs.
  • Develop and maintain KPI frameworks, dashboards, and reporting tools that support data-driven decision-making.
  • Supervise and support accounting team members or external accounting resources, ensuring work is completed accurately, timely, and in alignment with company standards.
  • Optimize accounting processes, improve internal controls, strengthen month-end close procedures, and identify ways to reduce manual work, errors, and inefficiencies.
