Requirements

  • 5+ years prior accounting/finance experience
  • Strong research and communication skills (oral and written)
  • Proficiency with Excel (including pivot tables), Word & Outlook
  • Strong ability to work as a team member in a fast paced, multitask environment
  • Good organization skills, detail-oriented

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years supervisory experience is a plus
  • SAP experience is a plus
  • Lease Accelerator experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations of Global Shared Services team including general accounting, fixed assets, intercompany, leases and other items as assigned
  • Supervise the month-end and year-end close processes including completion of all journal entries, account reconciliations, reports and other items related to closing
  • Manage accounting personnel including training, goal setting, annual reviews, coaching and other HR related duties
  • Ensure J-Sox controls are working properly within areas of responsibility
  • Provide support for internal and external audit requests related to both financial audits and J-Sox audits
  • Manage timely processing of global fixed asset activities including settlements, capitalizations and depreciation postings
  • Manage timely processing of global intercompany activities including cross-charges, royalty accounting, balancing of accounts and transfer pricing blended rates
  • Manage timely processing of global lease activities including additions, renewals, terminations, transfer of postings to SAP and other closing activities
  • Identify issues/errors within areas of responsibility and take corrective action or escalate to upper management as needed
  • Identify process improvements within areas of responsibility and implement changes to enhance efficiencies
  • Develop strong working relationships with key finance personnel throughout the global organization
