The Accounting Manager is a key player in the accounting department, responsible for managing and overseeing various accounting functions. This role requires advanced knowledge of accounting principles and practices, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to analyze and interpret financial data. The Accounting Manager ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial records, supports financial reporting, and contributes to the overall efficiency of the accounting operations. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience managing a team.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
  • 2-5 years of public accounting experience preferred
  • Experience with NetSuite accounting software and financial systems preferred
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Ensure all financial reports are accurate, timely, and compliant with accounting standards and regulations.
  • Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for decision-making.
  • Annual Budget Creation and Maintenance: Prepare Annual Budget for Company including detailed breakdowns.
  • Create and maintain Budget to Actual Results Monthly.
  • Oversee and perform reconciliation of general ledger accounts, including cash, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other balance sheet accounts.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies and variances in accounts.
  • Coordinate and manage the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
