About The Position

The Accounting Manager is a financial business partner with a business acumen to complete financial analysis, communicate findings, and support, or lead, problem solving to achieve business results. This role requires accounting and finance expertise to assist in setting strategic direction for the accounting department and support financial close, risk management, and compliance. The Accounting Manager demonstrates ownership of accurate and timely financial reporting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting from an accredited university
  • 7-10 years of experience in various accounting and financial positions of increasing responsibilities
  • MS office experience with emphasis in Excel pivot tables, data analytics and building dashboards
  • Familiarity with Velixo reporting or other Excel based tools such as Hyperion or Khalix
  • Proven track record of Staff Accountant responsibilities
  • Proven track record of FP&A analytics, modeling, and reporting
  • Proven track record of generating and maintaining SOPs to achieve best in class financial controls and processes
  • Proven experience working with external firms and partnerships
  • Ability to influence others with data and analysis (policy development and deployment)
  • Familiarity with managing and delivering results using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • CPG experience in various channels including national accounts, large box retailers, D2C, independent dealers, and on-line

  • Masters degree in accounting, finance or business administration
  • CPA / CMA designation
  • Experience with Power BI
  • Acumatica ERP software
