We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Accounting Manager to take full ownership of our financial operations. This is a "full-charge" role where you will manage everything from daily expense coding and AR/AP to high-level cash flow forecasting and annual budgeting. You will work closely with the CEO and HR Manager to ensure financial health and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting or full-charge bookkeeping.
  • Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
  • Must be comfortable with VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, and financial modeling.
  • Comfortable being the only person in the finance department and happy to pivot between data entry and executive strategy.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Florida-specific sales tax and nationwide payroll regulations.
  • CPA or CMA candidate (not required, but valued).

Responsibilities

  • Manage all Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring bills are paid on time and collections are handled professionally.
  • Perform daily expense coding and bank reconciliations to ensure 100% accuracy in the General Ledger.
  • Oversee the billing and invoicing process, ensuring customers are billed accurately and promptly.
  • Monitor and manage daily cash flow, providing weekly reports to the CEO.
  • Perform the "Month-End Close" and produce monthly financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow Statement).
  • Act as the primary point of contact for our external CPA for year-end tax preparation and audits.
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, working with department heads to set and track financial goals.
  • Provide "big picture" analysis on profitability, identifying areas for cost savings or revenue growth.
  • Maintain and improve internal financial controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Partner with the HR Manager to ensure payroll is funded and recorded accurately.
  • Manage employee expense reimbursement systems and corporate credit card reconciliations.
