About The Position

Baylands Family Credit Union is seeking an experienced Accounting & Electronic Services Manager to lead our accounting, financial reporting, and electronic banking operations. This leadership position reports directly to the President/CEO and plays a key role in supporting the financial strength, operational excellence, and strategic growth of the credit union.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of public or industry accounting experience, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience in accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and general ledger management.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to effectively supervise staff.

Nice To Haves

  • CPA preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Accounting & Electronic Services Department.
  • Prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and regulatory reports.
  • Manage the general ledger, month-end close, investments, cash management, and Asset Liability Management (ALM).
  • Prepare NCUA Call Reports and coordinate internal and external audits.
  • Oversee electronic banking services, including online banking, mobile banking, ACH, debit/ATM card programs, bill pay, mobile deposit, and eStatements.
  • Develop policies, improve processes, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
  • Supervise and develop department staff while serving as a member of the leadership team.
