About The Position

Trademark Property Company is seeking a detail-oriented, collaborative Accounting Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our corporate accounting department. This role is crucial to maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions timely, and coordinating seamlessly with internal teams and external vendors. The company is a full-service real estate firm specializing in the development, investment, and management of mixed-use, retail, multifamily, and office properties, focused on placemaking and turning ordinary spaces into community hubs.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in an accounting, bookkeeping, or high-volume administrative support role.
  • A High school diploma is required.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience navigating accounting software/ERP systems (QuickBooks, NetSuite, Sage, or similar).
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to maintain absolute professionalism when handling confidential data.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to partner effectively across departments and support fellow accounting team members.
  • A proactive problem-solver with a strong sense of urgency and the capacity to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

  • An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
  • Familiarity with GAAP principles is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Process accurate accounts payable and receivable transactions, monitor outstanding invoices, and follow up on vendor payments.
  • Provide critical backup and overflow support for primary AP processing under informal oversight to keep team workflows moving smoothly.
  • Generate billback invoices to accurately charge specific properties for expenses paid by corporate.
  • Perform regular, accurate bank statement and corporate credit card statement reconciliations.
  • Assist the corporate accounting team with month-end and year-end close procedures.
  • Perform precise data entry within accounting software and keep all financial records meticulously organized and audit-ready.
  • Resolve billing discrepancies or coding errors across departments, stuff checks for mailing, and handle miscellaneous administrative tasks to optimize team efficiency.
