About The Position

Screenplay Services is a locally owned Utah company that has been serving customers since 1989. We are one of the region's largest contract apparel decorators, providing screen printing, embroidery, heat press, and fulfillment services to customers throughout the United States. We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Accounting Coordinator / Bookkeeper to join our team. This position plays a critical role in supporting payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, bookkeeping, and administrative functions. The ideal candidate is dependable, accurate, professional, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail matters.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of bookkeeping, accounting, payroll, or related experience required.
  • QuickBooks Desktop experience required.
  • Payroll processing experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll accurately and on time.
  • Review employee time records and payroll adjustments.
  • Coordinate with department managers regarding payroll questions and corrections.
  • Maintain confidential employee payroll information.
  • Generate and distribute customer invoices.
  • Process customer payments and deposits.
  • Investigate and follow up on outstanding balances.
  • Maintain accurate customer account records.
  • Process vendor invoices and payments.
  • Reconcile vendor statements.
  • Create purchase orders and assist with supply ordering.
  • Resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Record financial transactions accurately in QuickBooks Desktop.
  • Assist with account reconciliations and month-end processes.
  • Maintain organized and accurate financial records.
  • Research and resolve accounting issues.
  • Ensure expenses are properly classified and coded.
  • Assist with employee onboarding and personnel records.
  • Support benefits administration.
  • Assist with recruiting and hiring administration.
  • Provide general office and administrative support as needed.
