Accounting Coordinator - Accounts Receivable

About The Position

This role is responsible for managing accounts receivable, communicating with club members regarding their accounts, researching and correcting transaction errors, providing support for various payment systems, and ensuring the accurate and timely processing of daily charges, deposits, and payments. The position also involves month-end closing processes for accounts receivable and generating relevant reports.

3 to 4 years related accounting experience

Responsibilities

Communicate with Club members “oral and written” regarding inquiries with member accounts
Research and correct any transaction made in error; pull tickets to return to Point of Sale for correction and/or make back-office correction
Provide Club members with Website, APP, and EFT Payment support
Daily upload of member charges from The Ritz Carlton and Short-Term Rental software systems
Daily transfer of Lockbox deposits from the Lockbox file to member accounts in Jonas
Prepare and record membership check payments
Pro-rate new and terminated member dues
Organize and maintain daily work
Ensure that all End of Day functions are properly closed at all retail locations of the Company
Close Jonas month-end processes and run accounts receivable reports on all Companies, ensuring that monthly member charges and payments are posted properly
Other duties and functions as assigned
