About The Position

Perform various clerical and routine accounting tasks in support of the accounting department. This role involves posting entries, verifying and reconciling input to the financial reporting system, processing payments, and assisting in the preparation of billings and other financial reports. The position requires performing routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for maintaining accounting records. Additionally, the role involves responding to inquiries, contacting other departments and/or vendors to resolve problems, and performing various clerical duties. The Accounting Clerk will compute, classify, and record numerical data to keep financial records accurate, compile spreadsheets for accounting reports, make bank deposits, perform banking duties for patients daily, and maintain and reconcile bank accounts as needed. The role also includes assisting in maintaining files and generating and sending bills. Other functions and tasks may be assigned.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid State Driver’s license required

  • Previous office, accounting or healthcare accounting experience preferred
