About The Position

To support continued growth and stability across our New Brunswick operations, we are hiring multiple Accounting Clerks to support dealership locations in Moncton, Fredericton, and Saint John. These roles play a key part in keeping our regional operations running smoothly and accurately behind the scenes. This opportunity is well-suited for someone with a solid accounting foundation who is looking for consistency, long-term opportunity, and meaningful work within a collaborative finance team supporting multiple Steele Auto Group dealerships in the region.

Requirements

• Post-secondary education in Accounting (or an accounting-focused program)
• Minimum 1 year of accounting experience in a Canadian business environment
• Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals, including debits and credits
• Experience in AP and/or AR
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Experience with computerized accounting systems
• A team-first mindset with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Nice To Haves

• Automotive or dealership experience is an asset, but not required

Responsibilities

• Supporting daily accounting operations across multiple Steele Auto Group dealerships in New Brunswick
• Posting and reconciling financial transactions accurately and efficiently
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Completing daily cash reporting and bank reconciliations
• Posting and balancing vehicle deals
• Preparing journal entries and assisting with general ledger reconciliations
• Supporting inventory controls and internal financial checks
• Working in line with SOP's and defined processes when completing daily required tasks
• Working closely with Controllers and dealership teams to ensure timely, accurate financial information
