About The Position

National Salvage & Service Corporation is actively searching for an Accounting Clerk. This role is on-site at our home office in Bloomington, Indiana. This is a Non-Exempt, Daytime Hours, Monday - Friday, Full Time (Hourly), Regular Position (40 hours) role.

Requirements

• Minimum 5-year work experience in accounting in a fast-paced environment preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Applications, with emphasis on Excel.
• Ability to prioritize workload and perform in a fast-paced and challenging environment.
• Capacity to liaison well between accounting and other departments for A/P and PO workflow requirements.
• Ability and desire to work in a rapidly changing environment.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality while handling files and records.
• Verification of your right to work in the United States.
• Satisfactory completion of a background investigation.
• Successful completion and passing a drug and alcohol test.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with accounting software, Sage preferred.
• Experience in TimberScan, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Filing documents, invoices, and receipts.
• Following established processes and procedures.
• Liaising between accounting and other departments for A/P and PO workflow requirements.
• Coding and processing 1,000+ invoices per month.
• Working in a rapidly changing environment.
