The Accounting Clerk I is responsible for maintaining financial records, processing fiscal transactions, and ensuring compliance with State of North Carolina accounting policies, Office of the State Controller regulations, and NCDAC fiscal procedures. This position requires accuracy, confidentiality, and the ability to work within a secure criminal justice environment. Ability to communicate effectively in person and by telephone. Ability to learn the use of special office equipment. Ability to perform simple arithmetic calculations. Duties include but are not limited to: Maintaining inventory of office supplies and printer toner to ensure the facility remains operational Accessing NCFS, E-Procurement, and Oracle Fusion Warehouse to place and receive orders Maintaining and filing received E-Procurement orders.
