About The Position

Provides clerical accounting, customer service, administrative and billing support for the City's Finance Department. Reviews all work for accuracy and compliance with City and departmental guidelines, procedures, and regulations. Work is performed under close supervision with minimal latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Some cashiering and/or clerical accounting experience
  • National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification (level to be determined by job classification requirements), or obtain within one year of employment.
  • Ability to perform each of the established essential functions.

Nice To Haves

  • Tyler cashiering experience
  • Tyler MUNIS Utility Billing experience
