About The Position

The Singer Oceanfront Resort is seeking an enthusiastic candidate to join our team as an Accounting Clerk. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. The Accounting Clerk will assist with various accounting tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, data entry, and financial reporting, contributing to the smooth financial operations of the establishment. This is a part-time, temporary position within a dynamic and collaborative work environment where your skills and expertise will be valued.

Requirements

1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance
Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field preferred

Responsibilities

Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
Conduct data entry and maintain accurate financial records
Prepare and reconcile financial statements and reports
Assist with payroll processing and expense tracking
Collaborate with the finance team to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions
Maintain confidentiality and adhere to accounting principles and procedures
Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Support the finance team with ad-hoc tasks as needed
