About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting / Billing Clerk to join our team on a part-time basis. The ideal candidate will support the accounting and billing functions through accurate data entry, invoice processing, document management, and administrative support. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with team members.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum one year of billing, accounting, administrative, or data entry experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential financial information responsibly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform accurate data entry of billing and financial information.
  • Verify invoice details for accuracy before entering into the system.
  • Process invoices in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Support credit card processing and related recordkeeping.
  • Communicate with internal team members regarding billing questions and discrepancies.
  • Assist with check runs and payment processing activities.
  • Scan, file, and maintain invoices and supporting documents.
  • Prepare and update billing spreadsheets and reports.
  • Maintain organized electronic and paper records.
  • Perform other administrative and accounting support duties as assigned.
