About The Position

The Accounting Coordinator will be responsible for processing invoices for weekly payment utilizing our accounting system. This person is also responsible for making deposits. The position also includes responsibility for recording financial data and monitoring programs within month-end processes and financial reporting. Requirements

  • Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook and Access
  • Proficient in the use of Excel
  • Skilled in Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Familiarity with Google Sheets and Docs
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-starter, able to work with deadlines and cutoffs
  • Able to work with details
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Retain information well, be resourceful
  • Good clerical skills, filing, data entry,

Responsibilities

  • Review and enter invoices for payment
  • Record deposits
  • Work with Market Planning on Do it Best Corp Markets and the recording of incoming vendor payments
  • Maintain records of vendor commodity payments
  • Responsible for maintaining employee corporate credit cards
  • Preparation of month end adjusting entries.
  • Preparation of limited financial reports at fiscal month end.
  • Other accounting functions, including helping with member co-op and employee expense reimbursement when needed.
