Position Summary As a Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for providing accounting support and financial planning and analysis for the Corporate Controllers and Rebates Department. You will also be responsible for maintaining sub-ledgers, performing monthly reconciliations of client payable accounts, processing adjustments in the Rebate System, and ensuring balances are in sync with Manufacturer A/R. You should also be comfortable performing internal control testing of certain Rebates functions in compliance with SOX, preparing monthly client profitability analysis, preparing monthly rebate booking files and Journal Entries, and explaining variance drivers.

Requirements

1 or more years of experience using Excel in a professional or academic setting
1 or more years of professional work and/or internship experience, preferably working with Access, Excel, SAP, accounting transactions, analytics, or variance research.

Nice To Haves

Experience developing databases and applications for data transformation and validation, as well as setting up user interface forms and expertise in data mining
SQL experience
PBM experience is a plus
Ability to understand and calculate complex financial arrangements
Experience in trade finance, rebate operations, finance, corporate accounting, or operations would be helpful.

Responsibilities

Providing accounting support and financial planning and analysis for the Corporate Controllers and Rebates Department.
