About The Position

Canteen is seeking an Accounting Analyst to join its team. The role supports accounting operations across branches, including weekly inventory close, branch compliance, reporting, and process improvement. The analyst also supports and trains Accounting Associates, works with cross-functional teams to address operational or financial issues, and helps ensure adherence to company policies, audit requirements, and accounting standards. Other duties may be assigned.

Responsibilities

Support and assist in training Accounting Associates to ensure consistent performance and adherence to company policies and procedures.
Oversee the weekly inventory close process for all branches.
Ensure and monitor branch compliance with MDM/step management.
Develop and improve processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and internal controls.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational or financial issues affecting inventory and branch accountability.
Prepare reports, analyze trends, and provide leadership with insights regarding the inventory close process.
Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and accounting standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
