About The Position

This position is responsible for research and resolution of customer deductions for specific distribution channels and divisions. The role involves monitoring promotional spending, processing customer payments, validating deductions, and maintaining customer profiles. The administrator will work alongside the management team, collaborating cross-functionally with Brokers, Sales, Accounting, Transportation, and Billing departments. Strong organizational skills are essential for reporting to management and meeting monthly department close deadlines without constant supervision.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.
3+ years office experience required.
Basic computer skills including using a Tyson Business Computer System as well as Microsoft Office & Excel.
Written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of management.
Work activities are variable and require judgment to complete tasks such as setting priorities, evaluating results, and coordinating with others.
Assignments are defined and the approach to be taken is usually determined in coordination with others.
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

3+ years payroll experience preferred.
SAP Preferred.
Occasional Saturday work if needed.

Responsibilities

Research and resolution of customer deductions for specific distribution channels and divisions.
Monitor promotional spending and alert appropriate management of overspends and incorrect promotional issues.
Process customer payments through Vistex when appropriate.
Validate deductions and code them if valid in SAP systems while maintaining appropriate approvals.
Process accounts daily and maintain up-to-date customer profiles.
Work alongside the management team while performing assigned tasks and reporting.
Work cross-functionally across the enterprise (Brokers, Sales, Accounting, Transportation, and Billing).
Meet department close deadlines without monitoring.
