About The Position

As an accounting administrator, you will provide the business with timely and accurate processing of requests for vendor funding contracts, cost changes and cost adjustments in Retek Merchandising System and Vendor Funding Tracking System. Requirements

  • 2+ years of accounting or admin experience in a medium to large organization
  • Adaptability in a high-volume, fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Experience in navigating complex systems to obtain information
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Basic to intermediate MS Office

Responsibilities

  • Process requests for vendor funding contracts (logs) in VFTS, ensure all appropriate supporting documentation and vendor authorization is obtained before triggering accounting entries and collection process
  • Implement purchase order cost change requests in RMS as well as cost adjustments for sell-through, price protection, markdowns and other funded and unfunded promotions
  • Perform audit to ensure that data entered in the systems matches requests, investigate issues and coordinate resolution with different stakeholders
  • Provide support in the manual billing and processing of value package logs
  • Produce reports relating to various vendor funding and cost adjustment activities
