Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
  • Experience using QuickBooks Online
  • Strong understanding of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Experience performing bank reconciliations
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to quickly learn new software and technology
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Trustworthy and able to maintain confidentiality
  • Dependable and accountable
  • Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  • Comfortable working independently
  • Able to prioritize multiple responsibilities
  • Professional in communication and appearance

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with fixed asset tracking
  • Experience in the construction or service industry
  • Experience managing inventory or purchasing
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Process Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
  • Enter invoices, bills, receipts, and financial transactions accurately
  • Complete bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting
  • Maintain organized and accurate financial records
  • Prepare reports for management
  • Assist with journal entries and general ledger maintenance
  • Maintain records for company vehicles, trailers, equipment, tools, and other assets
  • Track purchases, sales, warranties, repairs, and disposals
  • Maintain digital documentation and asset files
  • Ensure company records remain accurate and up to date
  • Receive, scan, categorize, and digitally organize receipts and documents
  • Order office supplies and monitor inventory levels
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal departments
  • Support leadership with administrative projects
  • Assist with improving office procedures and workflows
  • Help keep daily office operations organized and running efficiently
