About The Position

This is a part-time, fully remote Accountant position within a boutique public practice accounting firm. The firm specializes in providing taxation, accounting, and business advisory services to small and medium-sized businesses, focusing on client growth rather than high-volume compliance. The role offers exposure to meaningful work and long-term client relationships. The team operates remotely with regular daily catch-ups for connection and support. Requirements

• 2–4 years' Australian public practice experience
• CA/CPA qualified or working towards completion
• Confident using Xero
• Ability to work independently
• Comfortable with technology
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative remote environment
• Must be an Australian citizen, permanent resident of Australia, or NZ citizen with 2+ years of public experience

Nice To Haves

• Previous remote working experience
• Xero certification

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements
• Prepare tax returns
• Prepare BAS (Business Activity Statements)
• Support a range of tax and business advisory engagements for business clients
