Accountant Specialist – Short-Term Assignment Full-Time Temporary Opportunity | Premier Retirement Community Butterfield Trail Village is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant Specialist for a short-term assignment supporting our Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional looking for a temporary role in a stable, mission-driven nonprofit senior living community.

Requirements

  • Accounting or bookkeeping experience required
  • Strong Excel and accounting software skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • Healthcare, senior living, or nonprofit experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Assist with month-end close and financial reporting
  • Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and resident billing functions
  • Reconcile bank accounts and maintain accurate financial records
  • Assist with audits, reporting, and other accounting projects as assigned
