Accountant Specialist – Short-Term Assignment Full-Time Temporary Opportunity | Premier Retirement Community Butterfield Trail Village is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant Specialist for a short-term assignment supporting our Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accounting professional looking for a temporary role in a stable, mission-driven nonprofit senior living community.
Requirements
- Accounting or bookkeeping experience required
- Strong Excel and accounting software skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Nice To Haves
- Healthcare, senior living, or nonprofit experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations
- Assist with month-end close and financial reporting
- Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and resident billing functions
- Reconcile bank accounts and maintain accurate financial records
- Assist with audits, reporting, and other accounting projects as assigned
