About The Position

The Accountant 1 provides costing support, financial analysis, capital asset assistance, journal entries, reconciliations, and general legal entity support. Typical tasks include costing support, asset audit management, compliance support, reconciliations, journal entries, and miscellaneous legal entity support. The role interacts daily with the local team and works in a cubicle office environment. The team consists of a manager and three staff accountants.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Computer skills and typing skills.
• Microsoft Office experience, including basic Excel.
• Ability to learn, stay task-oriented, and remain organized.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• SAP experience.
• Pivot tables and macros.
