About The Position

The Accountant processes accounts payable for designated farms, creates required accounts receivable for those farms, posts ACH, wire, and check deposits, and manages the weekly check run. The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 2–5 years of related experience or training, agricultural and cost accounting experience, and the ability to meet the stated professional conduct and safety requirements. Preferred qualifications include industry knowledge and familiarity with Famous Software.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2–5 years of related experience and/or training.
• Agriculture-related experience.
• Cost accounting experience.
• Ability to maintain a professional appearance and behavior in accordance with Employee Handbook policies.
• Ability to meet all safety requirements and/or pass a drug and alcohol test for safety-sensitive positions.
