The Account Specialist will be the first point of contact for our customers and will play a key role in delivering a positive customer experience by proactively addressing inquiries, resolving issues and ensuring smooth communication between customers and internal teams. Being proactive with the customer and internal communications with Operations and supply Chain Management to support key customer requirements.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, and or Bachelors Degree in Business or equivalent experience
  • 1 – 3 years Customer Service/Account Management experience
  • Proficient with ERP systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily/weekly activities (communication, open orders, revenue trends) on key accounts
  • Coordinate with warehouse to support customer service targets
  • Proactively identify and resolve customer issues to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Provide regular updates to customers on account status, new products and services and other relevant information
  • Collaborate with other departments to meet customer needs and resolve customer issues
  • Communicate tracking with key customers
  • Attend supplier calls as needed
  • Assist in managing new customer set up
  • Process sales orders in the ERP system
  • Assist with communicating change notices to customers
  • Communication with Operations of the plans, constraints, and commitments
