Requirements

HS Diploma or GED required (some college coursework a plus) followed by a minimum of three years of Financial Services experience, ideally in auto finance or an installment loan portfolio.
Experience in a fast-paced environment.
Working knowledge of Word and Excel /Google Suite.
Able to master use of web-based system of record (LoanPro) – Training Provided.
Strong communication skills both verbally and written as roles are a combination phone and communicating through chat and email.
Excellent “people” skills and a strong customer service attitude.
Demonstrates problem solving ability.
Ability to express empathy and unconditional positive regard as you will be dealing with distressed consumers.
Ability to learn new processes.
Honest with strong work ethic, unscheduled absences are rare, always punctual.

Responsibilities

Work directly with financially distressed customers.
Evaluate the customer’s situation against our possible remedies.
Negotiate with customer to keep loan active and prevent loss for the company and for the customer.
Process and follow up on the workout remedy plan until completed, which may possibly include the entire reinstatement process of repossessed collateral or an extension.
Meet monthly productivity and quality goals.
Comply with all federal and state specific laws that regulate collections and servicing activities.
