About The Position

Crown Equipment Corporation, a global leader in lift truck manufacturing, is seeking an Account Representative CA Trainee. This role is responsible for maximizing the sale of lift trucks, Crown Insite products, and warehouse products within a specified territory to meet sales objectives. The trainee will develop existing accounts and seek new business by analyzing opportunities, identifying key personnel, and building strong business relationships. This position involves consulting and problem-solving to enhance the Company’s position in existing and target accounts, developing a territory management plan, and creating sales strategies, proposals, and forecasts. The role also includes developing and conducting product demonstrations and sales presentations, utilizing online resources to maintain accurate sales records, and participating in comprehensive training programs.

Requirements

  • Less than 2 years related experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and the ability to safely operate lift trucks for product demos
  • Ability and willingness to work outside normal business hours to prepare for sales activities
  • Ability to work in a team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor degree in business management, marketing, entrepreneurship, professional selling, or related business program, or several years of successful sales experience a plus
  • Knowledge of the entire sales process
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities, strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation
  • Intermittent computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites

Responsibilities

  • Maximize the sale of lift trucks, Crown Insite products, and warehouse products within a specified territory to meet sales objectives.
  • Develop existing accounts and seek new business.
  • Analyze opportunities, identify key personnel, and develop strong business relationships.
  • Consult and problem solve to enhance the Company’s position in existing and target accounts.
  • Develop a territory management plan to maximize time with customers.
  • Develop sales strategies, proposals, and forecasts.
  • Develop and conduct product demonstrations and sales presentations.
  • Utilize online resources to maintain accurate records of sales calls, customer files, and sales activity information.
  • Participate in initial and ongoing training programs both locally and at the New Bremen, Ohio corporate headquarters.
