About The Position

As an account manager for Kerry’s liquid coffee business, you will be responsible for generating new business relationships while also growing existing business. You will focus on multiple channels within the United States that include a focus on the convenience channel along with a focus on the traditional roasters and restaurants. You will also develop, lead, and coach the foodservice and national account managers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Minimum 5 years of commercial experience with liquid coffee.
  • Proven experience with product development with the understanding of how to build a white-label beverage business.
  • Deep relationships with purchasing, category managers and OCS companies.
  • Strong existing business contacts in national / regional chains is a plus.
  • Self-starter who can operate independently and close deals.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with a broader team.
  • Strong communication, organization, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Availability to travel up to 70%.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, and develop relationships with category managers, buyers, and industry influencers to generate new business opportunities and grow a robust sales pipeline.
  • Expand the beverage sales footprint for coffee and strengthen Kerry’s brand awareness across the food and beverage industry within the United States.
  • Manage existing customers to increase incremental revenue and profit and customer satisfaction.
  • Work with existing Kerry sales managers, marketing teams, R&D and operations.
  • Research and analyze economic, market, and industry trends within assigned niche markets and geographic areas to formulate action plans and category growth goals.
  • Attend trade shows, industry events, and association meetings to stay current on market conditions and competitive activity.
  • Provide regular updates to leadership on business development efforts, pipeline activity, and key performance indicators.
  • Support the development, execution, and refinement of the company’s sales plan.
  • Coordinate and manage the sales and proposal process in collaboration with marketing, project managers, and senior leadership.
