About The Position

EventMobi is a remote-first company seeking an Account Manager for a fully remote position. The role requires the candidate to reside anywhere while accommodating CET (Central European Time) working hours. Fluency in English and German is mandatory. This position is an integral part of the European Sales team, focusing on managing existing client business to drive product adoption, increase customer satisfaction, identify growth opportunities, and negotiate strategic contracts. The Account Manager will be the primary owner of existing client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to hundreds of top customers to drive account growth and retention year-over-year through a 'land and expand' strategy.

Requirements

  • 2 - 3 years experience in B2B Sales and Event Management (SaaS preferred)
  • Experience working with event technology, including: registration, event app, badges, AV solutions, virtual events.
  • Extensively worked within CRM such as HubSpot or SalesForce
  • Obtained a Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Fluency in English and German

  • Prior experience providing in-person support or on-site services is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a pipeline of existing customer business to drive customer retention & growth and achieve Net Revenue Retention & Account Retention Targets.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers needing assistance, engaging with professional event planners and event marketers from small to large corporations, associations, and event agencies.
  • Be responsible for initial onboarding, strategy conversations, and building ongoing relationships with key customers.
  • Drive product adoption and achieve the highest level of customer success through proactive engagement and support.
  • Build long-term relationships with 60+ accounts by conducting regular onboarding calls, training, account-level debriefs, product demos & check-in calls.
  • Prospect for growth opportunities within the existing client base through referral and other networking initiatives.
  • Stay on top of active events and manage projects from conception to post-event by liaising with various team members from graphics design, support, product, and professional service teams.
  • Follow the AM Daily Dashboard workflow provided in the CRM to ensure prioritized regularly scheduled touchpoints with accounts.
  • Maintain a clean and up-to-date pipeline forecast to be reviewed weekly with the manager.
  • Actively participate and contribute to team meetings, Slack discussions & 1:1s.
  • Leverage a mix of communication methods (phone, meeting, in mails, emails) to proactively engage and grow accounts.
