About The Position

Emergent Media is a fast-growing creator-led media network and studio where culture, content, and distribution directly influence demand in sectors like travel, automotive, and CPG. We reach millions of consumers globally across multiple platforms through our brands such as Paradise, Paradise Unmapped, SHLTR, California Love, Surfers, and our DTC e-commerce brand Driftward. We leverage data and insights to create and distribute content that engages consumers and drives results for brands. We are seeking a process and detail-oriented Account Manager who is passionate about the intersection of content, the creator economy, social media, and technology. The ideal candidate will have experience planning and executing digital media plans, creating and executing campaigns, and collaborating cross-departmentally to achieve results.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2-5 years of digital media experience
  • Excellent written, presentation and oral communication skills
  • Ability to listen, adapt, and think quickly on your feet
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
  • Proficiency with Google Suite - Slides, Docs, Sheets, etc
  • Ability to learn operating tools quickly with training (Salesforce, Asana, Google Analytics, etc.)
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or have legal authorization to work in the U.S.

  • Previous production or agency experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Sales team with RFP pitches.
  • Maintain client relationships.
  • Execute digital media campaigns.
  • Assist with day-to-day client requests and projects with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Participate in client meetings and presentation prep work.
  • Complete campaign reporting and screenshots.
  • Manage projects internally and externally.
  • Assist with deck building.
  • Effectively communicate, author presentations, kick-off call and recap decks, and help demonstrate the value of Emergent to partners.
  • Support and create media plans and agency/client-facing templates.
  • Act as a trusted consultant for partners by recommending and putting together proposals that meet their marketing objectives and needs.
  • Work cross-functionally with departments and key stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Work efficiently and effectively under tight deadlines, while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Stay current with industry trends in travel, home, and overall digital media.
  • Complete reporting in client-specific templates for each campaign and communicate results and optimization recommendations to the client.
  • Lead project management for custom video content projects in partnership with the production team, including building production timelines and overseeing the tracking of all deliverables.
