About The Position

Beauty Barrage is a full-service strategic sales management team with our Field Team servicing doors across North America. Beauty Barrage works with some of the hottest brands in beauty today and provides in-store support in retailers like Sephora, ULTA, Bluemercury, and more! We have over 200+ beauty professionals servicing over 3,000 doors in the U.S. and Canada. We were also named to the Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing companies. The Account Manager will execute sales strategy and manage ongoing relationships and programs for a select group of clients. This role will provide excellent client relations and attention to detail to improve client retention, program profitability, and program success. The Account Manager will make strategic decisions on ways to improve activities customized to each specific retailer. The goal is to increase a brand’s KPIs, decrease client turnover, and increase sales performance compared to the client’s own sales team utilizing unique sales and retention techniques. The Account Manager will report to the VP of Account Management. Local candidates must be able to work on-site at our Newport Beach corporate office.

Requirements

  • MUST have beauty experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience required
  • Professional use of business acumen
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Results driven
  • Advanced Microsoft Office suite proficiency
  • Positive attitude, helpful, and an incredible work ethic
  • Creativity and a preference for working in small, collaborative teams
  • Must be responsible and organized with the ability to manage various priorities

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with a beauty retailer preferred
  • Account manager experience with a beauty corporate team preferred
  • Sales analysis experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Organize, plan, and prepare strategic direction for client improvement and growth, and ensure it is properly executed
  • Provide strategic recommendations to the client through data analysis
  • Build and maintain relationships with assigned client partners by acting as the day-to-day client contact, focusing on execution and project management
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure all client commitments are properly articulated and executed
  • Drive client growth by developing incentives, contests, etc. for the Field Sales team to exceed sales goals and work with clients to gain their support with Field Sales team sampling, incentives, etc.
  • Increase client sales by partnering with Education and Field Sales teams
  • Analyze client’s performance through Field Team surveys/feedback and sales reports to report on outcomes and recommend solutions for continual improvement
  • Partner cross-departmentally to ensure the Field Sales team is supported through regular communication, attainable goals, and sales incentives
  • Provide weekly recaps/status reports for client calls and internal teams
  • Manage marketing calendars and critical dates with clients and internal teams
  • Manage monthly billing by building invoice trackers and tracking Field Team hours worked
