About The Position

TC Transcontinental is seeking an experienced, results-driven Account Manager to join their Sales team and manage the Alberta and British Columbia territory. The company, founded 50 years ago and with 4,000 employees, is a Canadian retail marketing services company, Canada's largest printer, and a leader in French-language educational publishing. They focus on driving innovation and delivering high-value products and services across retail, education, book, and information industries. The Account Manager will be responsible for building relationships, developing new business, and delivering customer-focused solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of outside B2B sales experience
  • Demonstrated success generating new business
  • Experience selling into industrial, manufacturing, OEM, fleet, construction, transportation, or related industries
  • Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
  • Experience using Salesforce or another CRM
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • A valid driver's licence and the ability to travel extensively throughout your territory

Responsibilities

  • Building new business through strategic prospecting and networking
  • Developing relationships with manufacturers and industrial organizations
  • Managing an established customer portfolio while expanding existing accounts
  • Conducting customer meetings, site visits, and product presentations
  • Identifying opportunities across multiple industries
  • Collaborating with Customer Service, Production, and Operations to deliver exceptional customer experiences
  • Managing your pipeline using Salesforce CRM
  • Preparing quotations and following opportunities through to completion
  • Representing TC Transcontinental as a trusted business partner throughout your territory
