About The Position

Solid Rock Recruiting is partnering confidentially with an established commercial mechanical contractor seeking a motivated Service Sales / Account Manager for its HVAC and plumbing service division in the Minneapolis area. The position focuses on selling service and maintenance agreements to commercial customers, including property managers, developers, and building owners. The role emphasizes developing new business, growing customer relationships, and generating revenue rather than technician dispatching or day-to-day service coordination. HVAC or plumbing sales experience is beneficial but not required for the right candidate.

Compensation includes a base salary of $90,000 and a tiered commission structure with significant earning potential. Total compensation is performance-driven; experienced team members reportedly earn more than $300,000 annually. The role offers the opportunity to build a book of business and earn compensation based on results.

Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and sell HVAC and plumbing service and maintenance agreements.
• Build and maintain relationships with property managers, developers, and commercial customers.
• Identify prospective accounts, generate leads, and develop a consistent sales pipeline.
• Manage customer accounts and identify opportunities to expand existing business.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between customers and internal teams.
• Drive revenue growth through proactive outreach, networking, and relationship development.
