About The Position

LDK Logistics is seeking a White Glove Account Manager to join their team. This role serves as a front-line representative for customers and the vendor community, managing orders from initial quote through delivery, paperwork collection, and final invoicing. The Account Manager will ensure every customer interaction reflects the "Velvet Glove" standard of service. This position requires working cross-functionally with operations, sales, and management to ensure smooth job progression and to build strong client and vendor relationships. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• 3 years minimum previous experience in logistics, operations, customer service, or a related field required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word) required.
• Strong typing and written communication skills.

• Geographical knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage customer orders end-to-end — from quote and order entry through delivery, paperwork collection, and invoicing — while maintaining LDK's core values at every step.
• Interact with LDK's vendor community to ensure high levels of on-time and damage-free deliveries; proactively vet new vendors as customer needs arise.
• Resolve customer and vendor inquiries and complaints with professionalism and a solutions-first mindset.
• Field after-hours calls and manage active orders outside of standard business hours as needed.
• Identify opportunities to support and expand sales by understanding customer needs and suggesting additional services at the right time.
• Collaborate with operations, sales, and management as a cross-functional team member to ensure customer needs are met.
• Identify and communicate process improvement opportunities to the Operations Manager.
• Accept training and coaching from the leadership team to continue building expertise in the white glove logistics space.
