Requirements

  • 4–7 years of commercial insurance brokering experience
  • A professional presence and the ability to represent Lockton with integrity, care, and sound judgment
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with the ability to build trust with Associates, Producers, clients, and carrier partners
  • Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to keep learning and growing professionally
  • The ability to take ownership of work while collaborating effectively within a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Outlook
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the account team on new business and renewal strategies, including gathering and analyzing exposure and loss information and preparing high-quality submissions for the marketplace.
  • Review quotes, support carrier negotiations, and contribute to client proposal presentations that help tell each client’s story clearly and effectively.
  • Deliver timely, accurate post-renewal materials and client follow-through.
  • Coordinate requested program changes throughout the policy term with attention to detail and service excellence.
  • Serve as a trusted day-to-day resource for clients and carrier partners through proactive communication, problem-solving, and follow-up.
  • Contribute to team initiatives that support growth, consistency, and better outcomes for clients.
  • Reflect Lockton’s standards of excellence by following established policies, processes, systems, and operating procedures.
