About The Position

Triton Stone is a family-owned, women-run company based in New Orleans, Louisiana, with 31 locations across 17 states. We are the largest importer of Natural Stone in the SE U.S. and have an enthusiastic team of over 400 employees. This role involves growing sales with assigned accounts, managing customer relationships, developing new business, and providing customers with specific product programs. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication and negotiation skills, a competitive spirit, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Requirements

Minimum of 2 Years in Outside Sales
Must be an Independent Self-Starter who will Take Initiative and Maintain Professionalism and Flexibility in a Fast-Paced Work Environment
Expertly Skilled in Verbal and Written Communication
Excellent Interpersonal, Customer Service, and Negotiation Skills
Ability to Retain Information and Develop a Firm Understanding of Triton Stone’s Products and Offerings
Must be Competitive and Develop Awareness of Competition while Finding Solutions to Win
Must be Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
High School or GED Required
Valid Driver’s License
Suitable Vehicle for Transferring Customer Samples, etc.

Responsibilities

Grow Slab, Sink, and Tile Sales with Assigned Accounts
Call on, Service, Grow, and Manage Relationships in all Assigned Fabricator Accounts
Develop and Grow Underperforming or New Fabricator Accounts
Identify Targets and Gain New Specifications through Growth Channels in Builder, Dealer, and K&B
Develop and/or Provide Customers with Specific Product Programs for Slabs (Natural Stone, Quartz), Sinks (Kohler, Blanco, Crescent, etc.), and Tile (Crescent)
Manage Customer Sample Programs – Replace and Update Samples and Displays as needed
Respond to Customer Needs, Requests, or Complaints with an Extreme Sense of Urgency
Manage Orders and Follow Up on Potential Opportunities (i.e. Holds)
Communicate Opportunities with Inside Sales (i.e. Referrals / Walk-ins) and Tool Sales Teams
Send a Minimum of two (2) Mailchimp Campaigns Weekly
Maintain a Call Log with Notes for Follow-Up, as well as a Lost Sales Log
Perform Quarterly Business Review Meetings (in-person) with Top Accounts
Maintain a Professional Attitude and Appearance (i.e. Dress Code)
