Novelis is seeking an Account Manager to support our North America Beverage Packaging team, based in Atlanta, GA. In this role, you will manage key customer accounts in a dynamic, supply-constrained environment, helping balance customer demand with plant capacity while driving strong commercial performance. You will serve as a primary point of contact for customers, ensuring seamless supply, resolving issues, and building long-term partnerships. This role works closely with internal teams across Sales, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Technical Services to deliver reliable service and identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and sustainability.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a related commercial role
  • Strong analytical and financial skills, with experience assessing profitability and commercial performance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Demonstrated negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage customers and internal partners
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
  • Experience collaborating across functions such as operations, supply chain, technical, or R&D
  • Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Manage strategic can accounts, including demand forecasting, order alignment, and account performance
  • Partner with internal teams to balance customer requirements with production capabilities
  • Lead resolution of customer issues, including supply and quality challenges
  • Build strong customer relationships and identify opportunities for growth
  • Collaborate on new product development and sustainability initiatives
  • Support market analysis, profitability insights, and account strategy development
