About The Position

The Account Manager services and renews Church Mutual customer accounts within an assigned territory. The role involves on-site customer visits to inspect and field underwrite, evaluate exposures, obtain referrals, and deliver renewal and service presentations. The Account Manager provides risk management advice, identifies supplemental coverage opportunities, investigates customer inquiries, maintains customer records, and processes automated insurance transactions. The position is remote and requires travel, including overnight stays.

Requirements

Obtain and maintain the proper insurance license.
Maintain a valid driver's license.
Ability to understand organizational structure and operation.
Ability to work independently to specific performance standards and goals.
Ability to travel, including overnight stays.
Strong written and verbal presentation and listening skills.
Demonstrated relationship-building, decision-making, negotiation, and communication skills.
Ability to understand, interpret, and explain various insurance policies.
Ability to learn and use job-related software and stay current with changes.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement a service and renewal plan to achieve assigned goals and corporate objectives.
Develop subline and other sales opportunities for customers of Church Mutual and its subsidiaries.
Conduct on-site visits to inspect, field underwrite, evaluate exposures, obtain referrals, and conduct customer renewal and service presentations.
Obtain referrals for new business.
Provide risk management advice, evaluate exposures, and round out customer accounts with appropriate supplemental coverage.
Investigate and respond appropriately to customer inquiries, and report activities in appropriate systems.
Maintain the customer database and process automated insurance transactions.
