About The Position

The Account Executive plays a critical role in onboarding, training, and activating new agents, ensuring they are fully equipped to succeed with NCD’s products. This role focuses on engaging with newly contracted agents to guide them through onboarding, training, and best practices. Additionally, the Account Executive supports lead generation efforts, works industry events, and gradually takes on higher level account management responsibilities. The Account Executive also serves as a liaison between Sales and Agent Support, ensuring that escalated concerns are routed appropriately. Territory: Eastern U.S., including ME, NH, VT, MA, RI, CT, NY, NJ, PA, DE, MD, VA, WV, NC, SC, GA, and FL.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in sales, account management, or agent support, preferably in the insurance or healthcare industry.
  • Experience with outbound sales calls, lead generation, and customer engagement.
  • Familiarity with agent onboarding and training processes.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred — this role involves communicating with Spanish-speaking agents and prospects.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to educate and support agents effectively.
  • Ability to multitask and manage multiple agent relationships simultaneously.
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills, particularly for training webinars and workshops.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable with data tracking and CRM software.
  • Adaptable and comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic sales environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Insurance licenses (Life & Health) preferred or willingness to obtain.
  • Willingness to travel to industry events and conferences.
  • Comfortable making outbound sales and follow-up calls regularly.
  • A proactive approach to learning and staying updated on industry trends and company offerings.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound calls to introduce new agents to NCD’s tools, resources, and onboarding process, ensuring a smooth start.
  • Contact warm leads and prospective agents to educate them on NCD’s offerings and drive contracting.
  • Work at the booth at industry conferences and networking events, engaging with potential agents and strengthening NCD’s brand presence.
  • Facilitate small-group virtual or in-person sessions to provide step-by-step guidance for new agents.
  • Gather and share agent success stories, providing case studies and best practices to help drive sales conversations.
  • Lead weekly training webinars, ensuring agents fully understand NCD’s products and sales strategies.
  • Take ownership of a small portfolio of accounts, ensuring agents receive the necessary support and guidance to drive production.
  • Implement structured post-event follow-ups, nurturing leads into engaged, contracted agents.
  • Conduct targeted outreach campaigns to contracted agents, gathering insights on their experience with NCD’s products, processes, and challenges to inform future product development and operational improvements.
