Requirements

  • 3-4 years of experience in logistics/transportation
  • A go-getter who works well independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and problem-solve in the moment
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills as part of a team
  • Highly skilled at developing and maintaining relationships with customers and carriers
  • A strong sense of personal accountability and a winning attitude
  • Negotiation and customer service skills
  • The ability to prioritize and schedule workloads efficiently while accommodating carriers and customers
  • Customer service or operational experience in the transportation industry preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Nice To Haves

  • Drayage/port experience is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of freight, from booking to delivery, with precision and care
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and carrier partners
  • Maintain proactive communication with customers to ensure transparency and trust
  • Monitor and resolve shipment issues in real time, keeping all parties informed
  • Manage a high volume of inbound and outbound communication with efficiency and professionalism
  • Provide regular reporting and insights on account performance to both internal teams and customers
  • Oversee your carrier portfolio, ensuring partners meet safety, service, and compliance expectations
  • Identify opportunities to improve service levels, reduce costs, or streamline process
