About The Position

As an Account Manager, you will manage client relationships, drive revenue growth, and coordinate product delivery for flower growers, wholesalers, distributors, or commercial nurseries. This is a Vendor Management role, not a sales position. We are seeking an enthusiastic, relationship-driven Account Manager to join our team. Your primary focus will be supporting and growing established customer accounts while becoming a trusted advisor to your customers. You will develop product knowledge, manage orders, and represent the company, working both independently and collaboratively within our close-knit office environment.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Excel, Word, and Teams).
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to travel as required.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in account management, wholesale sales, customer service, vendor management or a related business-to-business (B2B) role is preferred.
  • Experience within the horticulture, agriculture, nursery, greenhouse, floral, or related industries is a plus, but not required.
  • Experience using ERP software is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Build, strengthen, and maintain relationships with an established portfolio of professional growers by providing exceptional customer service, understanding their unique needs, and supporting their success.
  • Learn our product lines and provide customers with information regarding product availability, planting schedules, growing considerations, and crop times.
  • Guide customers through the ordering process, from providing quotes and availability to confirming orders, maintaining clean data in our ERP system, and scheduling ship dates for timely product delivery.
  • Visit customers to strengthen relationships, better understand their businesses, provide ongoing support, and develop your industry knowledge. This includes occasional overnight regional travel (such as to Northern California) approximately every 6 to 8 weeks.
  • Represent the company professionally at customer sites, industry trade shows, and networking events while building lasting relationships throughout the horticulture industry.
  • Monitor customer feedback, industry trends, and market conditions to support customer success and identify opportunities for continued business growth.
