About The Position

Capital Electric is seeking a PNP Account Manager to lead its Pros Need Pros (PNP) sales effort. The program aims to strengthen relationships with small-to-medium-sized contractors by giving them access to Capital Electric services that can help grow their businesses. The role works with customers to understand their needs, help them establish goals, and connect them with company resources. The Account Manager also seeks to increase these customers’ year-over-year sales and gross margin.

Requirements

At least 5 years of counter sales or related experience selling electrical products.
Knowledge of electrical product features and benefits.
Passion for the electrical products industry and electrical distribution.
Personable and able to talk with customers.
Ability to work within a team environment.
Self-starter who is flexible and able to manage time independently.
Knowledge of Eclipse and Microsoft Office applications.
Must have an automobile and be willing to travel between area branches.

Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with the PNP Program Manager, Area Branch Counter Manager, Area Branch Managers, and Counter Sales Writers to identify and grow small-to-medium-sized contractors with the potential and motivation to expand their businesses.
Build customer relationships by listening and responding to customer needs, helping customers set goals, and providing access to Capital Electric resources that support their success.
Increase year-over-year sales, gross margin dollars, and gross margin percentage generated by the customers in the program.
