About The Position

The Account Manager will play a key role in dramatically increasing EV charging infrastructure in the state of Oregon. The role’s primary responsibility is to provide proactive consultation services for commercial and multi-family building owners and managers interested in installing multiple EV chargers. The ideal candidate will be adept at developing, facilitating, and nurturing excellent business relationships, providing guidance on EV charging, coordinating technical/design support, and explaining available rebates. The Account Manager will drive program successes by pursuing new and existing partnership opportunities involving participating building owners, facility managers, Trade Allies, Program Partners, and other entities. Requirements

  • 3-7 years’ experience in account or sales management.
  • Business to Business experience with Property Management, Construction Management, A/E Engineers, Electrical Contractors, Clean Transportation, Solar/Storage and related fields preferred.
  • Experience with EV charging, utilities, or energy efficiency programs preferred.
  • Enthusiasm for energy conservation and carbon reduction.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate policy, technical, financial, and sustainability concepts to property owners and other stakeholders as required.
  • Strong client relationship management skills and processes.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills as well as excellent presentation and writing skills.
  • Must be equally adept at working independently and within a team setting.
  • Proficient in Windows, MS Office Suite, SharePoint (cloud), CRM
  • Clean driving record required
  • Willingness to travel extensively throughout a defined territory
  • Able to drive/sit in car for up to 4 hours per day
  • Climb up and down ladders of all types and heights in and out of doors
  • Lift, move, and otherwise maneuver physical objects weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Do all of the above while always using safe working practices

Responsibilities

  • Take a consultative end-to-end approach to ensure customer success.
  • Track and enter all required program data related to participants in an accurate and timely manner in a CRM
  • Work with program managers to establish performance goals and monitor progress toward goals.
  • Stay current on all policies, procedures and new initiatives to ensure program participants are aware of all current program guidelines, incentives and requirements.
  • Make public presentations to target audiences and related stakeholders such as tenant groups and Program Partners.
  • Develop and maintain advanced knowledge in local and regional EV charging policies, news, and trends.
  • Identify and recruit potential commercial and multi-family building owners, property managers, and other Program Partners to ensure the program meets or exceeds its enrollment and installation goals.
  • Convert warm leads from various outreach sources into program enrollments.
